Theatrical Resume’ (I updated my resume’ when I auditioned for Ruth in Pirates at Utah Shakes)

Jenny Marie Hatch

3800 Pike Road Apt. 24-103 435-592-3884 JennyMHatch@Yahoo.com

I am a working disabled actor in Boulder Colorado. Locally I perform with the Longmont Theatre Company. Breathing issues that require supplemental oxygen and a walker for scoliosis have made it difficult to find work.

I am hoping my disabilities might be an asset in playing Ruth in Pirates of Penzance. I am not interested in playing more than her role, but I have been a blogger for fifteen years and have multi media skills that could be used instead of playing several different roles in various shows.

I could set up a podcast, interview patrons, the cast, the directors, and use my social media skills to really increase the festivals web footprint. I also am a wordpress designer and could design a really great blog on that platform for Utah Shakes.

Dancing and Choreography

I have choreographed several major musicals including Bye Bye Birdie where I taught a large group of non dancers to do a three beat swing. I specialize in quickly teaching community theatre performers how to authentically dance onstage. I taught the whole Fezziwig Party scene dancers how to waltz for the Longmont Theatre Companies production of A Christmas Carol. And I taught fifty “little girls” simplified Annie choreography for a twenty minute concert version of the show for our Bloomfield Hills Stake Dance Festival in 1985.

Acting - I started on the stage when I was three

Director - I have directed in many different situations, too many to name them all, but highlights include A Year with Frog and Toad Kids version and High School Musical Jr.
