2024 Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump was the keynote speaker at the Monumental Leaders Rally hosted by the South Dakota Republican Party in Rapid City.
He was introduced by Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD), who said he had her “full and complete endorsement” in the 2024 presidential race. During his remarks, Mr. Trump touted his record during his four years in office and said his recent indictment in a Georgia case accusing him of trying to interfere in the state’s 2020 tallying of its presidential election results was an indictment of his supporters.
This was Mr. Trump’s first public appearance since he was formally charged in that case.
