For over twenty years I have systematically been healing from Satanic Ritual Abuse.
During a dark time I was guided by Heavenly Father to go looking for a song that was to convey to me how he had protected me during my childhood when I was being passed around a demonic circle of deviants who relentlessly abused my little body.
He first gave me the melody of the song in my mind. Then I went on a hunt to find the song. One day I heard the Barbara Streisand version of "Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd.
I had bought her Broadway album in 1986 and listened to the song a few times back then, but forgot about it.
I felt chills rush up and down my body as I recognized the melody I had "heard" in my mind as I remembered that song from my youth.
As I listened to the words, Heavenly Father let me know that he had done a multitude of things to help me survive the torture.
Music has been my therapy of choice as I have healed while raising our five children. I turn to this song now and then to remind me of the heavenly help, comfort me, and give perspective as I live out my days.
I recorded this cover on my phone the other night.
