Email exchange with the Provo Police Department
Regarding my GRAMA (FOIA) request for the documents tied to the Utah Abuse Crisis and SRA
Angela,
When I made my request I did not know Nathan had received the Video files because he did not know he had them.
After I made my GRAMA request he sent me the link you had provided him to the video files and I downloaded them.Â
I shared the link on my blog and informed everyone the videos were available for download until June 20th from the evidence site. Numerous people clicked from my site to take a peek. As for how many downloaded the files, I only know of a few.
I have spent the past six days trying to publish all of them online and finally was successful last night when I was able to upload them to my Dropbox account after purchasing the professional version of Dropbox.
I spent several hours last night systematically uploading them to the internet and then announced on my blog, Substack, and Twitter that the videos were now available online for all of those interested in this case, particularly victims, journalists, and especially the perpetrators, who may have been unaware of their existence.
I did all of this to preserve my own life and the lives of all activists and Indy journalists covering this case. I also have deep respect for the three local tv news stations and reporters who together covered the reopening of the case, particularly Adam Herbets who was mentioned by name during David Leavitts press conference.
I believe the public deserves to see this compelling evidence in a case that has ruined many lives.Â
All of the evidence is now either embedded on or linked to from this blog post, which will remain on the internet forever.

I do not need any more files as I believe I have all of the ones made available by the Provo Police.
When Nathan and I talked about requesting the information we believed we were only going to get Victim Statement #3, which had been mentioned several times in the media.
We both were overwhelmed by the flood of information that was passed along to us.
I made the executive decision to publish all of it.Â
I hope you are having a wonderful day in Utah.Â
The weather here in Colorado could not be more lovely.
Cheers!

Ms. Hatch,
I am able to provide you with the same records I have provided everyone requesting the same information/incidents you have. I understand you received records from Nathan Stolpman, which he received via GRAMA request also. The recorded media was also provided to him and all others, but has yet to be published or released by any I am aware, presumably out of consideration to the victims and the graphic and personal nature of the alleged crimes. Would you like to receive the same records I have provided the previous requestors, as I am not sure exactly what you have and do not have? Also, it is a large volume of data, which I disseminate two ways, WeTransfer for the text records and Evidence.com for the media records.
Please let me know how you wish me to proceed.
Thank You,
Angela
